As Chairman Emeritus of HilltopSecurities, Mr. Feinberg provides strategic counsel to HilltopSecurities’ Board of Directors. He maintains long-held relationships with clients and industry associations.

Mr. Feinberg also serves on the Board of Directors for Hilltop Holdings.

Career Highlights

  • Served as chairman and CEO of HilltopSecurities from January 2016 to February 2019
  • Led merger of HilltopSecurities and First Southwest Company in 2016
  • Directed sale of First Southwest Company to PlainsCapital Corporation in 2012
  • Served as chairman and CEO of First Southwest Company from December 1991 to January 2016
  • Served as senior managing director with Bear Stearns & Co.
  • Served as vice president with Solomon Brothers, managing the firm’s Dallas office
  • Served as first lieutenant in U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

  • B.B.A. in Finance, University of Georgia
  • Received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia at Athens, 2008
